This year has been remarkable for Team Xbox, and you, our customers. We welcomed Bethesda to the family, announced a new set of games in June, and launched Psychonauts 2 and Microsoft Flight Simulator, two of the highest-rated games of the year, into Xbox Game Pass. Sea of Thieves now has 25 million players. Your passion for Series X-shaped appliances and the "Mini Fridge" have made it a reality. We couldn't be happier for the overwhelming support we've received from our players.
In the midst of the Xbox 20th anniversary in November, we're excited to kick-off three epic months of back-to-back blockbuster game launches in Game Pass:
- The Age of Empires franchise has been a major part of Microsoft's gaming legacy for the past 24 years, and the Oct. 28 launch of Age of Empires IV will be our biggest yet and will bring the redesigned real-time strategy game to a brand new generation on Steam and Game Pass for PC on day one. On Nov. 2, Minecraft will be available on Game Pass for PC. In December, new Minecraft Dungeons Seasonal Adventures will be available. Caves & Cliffs: Part II will be released later in the year.
Forza Horizon 5's open-world adventure in Mexico will launch on November. 9. Our biggest Forza Horizon ever and the winner of the Most Awaited Game of E3 award, Forza Horizon 5 will launch simultaneously on Xbox Series X
Microsoft Flight Simulator: Game of the Year Edition is available for free to current players, Game Pass members and Game Pass members. It features five new aircrafts and eight new airports. There are also new Discovery Flights and tutorials. The game also features the most requested community features, such as DX12 support. Microsoft Flight Simulator will also launch the Reno Air Races, featuring the fastest motorsports on the planet. It will also be available on Nov. 18.
The Master Chief will be returning on December 8 with Halo Infinite. This is the Halo we thought of 20 years ago that finally comes to life in the most epic Halo game we have ever created. Halo Infinite is available in Game Pass on Xbox One, Xbox Series X Game Pass Ultimate members will also receive monthly multiplayer bonuses as part of the Perks program.
Our teams have been working hard to improve the games you enjoy. You have explored Minecraft: Caves & Cliffs Part 1 and Sea of Thieves; A Pirate's Life, Sea of Thieves, Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2 and Homecoming Grounded Hot and Heezy, Halo: The Master Chief Season 8 and many more in the past few months. We are grateful that these worlds continue to be played in by millions of you.
Over the last two decades, the Xbox community has transformed gaming into an enjoyable experience and inspiration, education, and social connection. Games help build bonds and forge connections between family and friends and offer people new ways of connecting.
